I’ve always used uTorrent and have recently recieved an email from my internet carrier informing me that I’ve been caught for copyright infringement and to stop asap….soooo now i have no way to download music besides the overly expensive itunes…so in your opinion what’s the best and cheapest method of downloading music or where should I download music from? Thanks

Lime wire is free music but you might get a virus but if you just going to listen to music on your computer you can use grooveshark

well i don’t know if you are talking about ipods or mp3 players, but I use lala. (www.lala.com) The prices vary on the songs (it usually goes no further than 99 cents, though.)

1. iTunes isn’t overly expensive.
2. Alternatives include Rhapsody, which offers any song in the entire library on a subscription basis without paying per song – but if you ever want to stop, you can’t listen at all anymore. Microsoft has a similar alternative, with the same downside.
3. Although I’ll remind you not to do it illegally, music is better found via rapidshare than torrenting…
